1. Scope and responsibility for data processing
This privacy policy applies to all personal data collected as part of the dissemination and co-innovation activities within the Horizon Europe FORADVISE project.
The entity responsible for processing this data is: The project FORADVISE, that has received funding from the European Union Horizon Europe under Grant Agreement No. 101182935.
The user must carefully read this privacy policy and decide freely if he/she intends to provide his/her personal data to the FORADVISE project before communicating data. The user guarantees that he/she is of legal age and that the data communicated are true, accurate, complete and current, being responsible for any nonconformity. If the data communicated belongs to a third party, the user guarantees that he/she informed the third party about the conditions provided in this document and that he/she was authorized to provide his/her data to the FORADVISE project for the indicated purposes.
Personal data will be processed lawfully, fairly and transparently. Personal data shall be processed exclusively in a manner that ensures adequate security of personal data, including protection against unauthorized or unlawful processing and against accidental loss, destruction or damage by the application of appropriate technical or organizational measures.
Prior to giving consent, the person must be informed of the right to withdraw consent at any time.

2. Purposes of the treatment and legal basis
The personal datacollected through this website are intended to allow the following operations:
- Participation in workshops, seminars, conferences, webinars and other events organized by the Horizon Europe project FORADVISE
- Participation in surveys, questionnaires or similar enquiries, organized by the Horizon Europe project FORADVISE
- FORADVISE official public reports and public Deliverables that collected data and will be available on different channels of the project. Other reports and Deliverables will be covered by all EU rules.
- FORADVISE research communications, such as newsletters, news or other related activities
- The processing of personal data is necessary to carry out the aforementioned operations.
3. The category of data collected
The personal data that we collect are mainly the following:
- Identity data (Name, e-mail, telephone number, etc.)
- Personal data included in messages sent to the FORADVISE project
- Data relating to professional life
- Connection data
To ensure compliance with the principle of minimization, the FORADVISE project processes only the personal data necessary for the purposes for which they are processed.
4. Recipients
The FORADVISE project does not provide, transmit, or otherwise disclose user’s personal data to third parties. However, Tthe personal data of the user may be communicated to a suitable service provider contracted by the FORASVISE project. The service provider will process, the data exclusively for the purposes of the FORADVISE project and in compliance with the instructions issued by the FORADVISE project, strictly complying with the legal rules on data protection information security and other applicable standards, pursuant to a written agreement between the parties.
The FORADVISE project may be required to communicate personal data to comply with a legal obligation, at the request of an administrative or judicial authority which requests it or for the exercise of legitimate interest such as the defense of rights.
5. Cookies
If you leave a message on our website, your name and email address will be saved in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.
This portal uses web analytics service provided by Agricultural University of Athens (AUA). Cookies (small text files stored locally on your computer) are used to help analyse how people use this portal. The collected information, including your IP-address, will be stored on servers in Greece.
FORADVISE and AUA will use this information to generate reports on portal usage. FORADVISE and AUA will only share the collected information with third parties when legally required to do so. Your IP-address will not be combined with that of other websites or other data sources that are available to FORADVISE and AUA.
6. International data transfers
The FORADVISE project will process user data in its entirety within countries represented within the project consortium. All international data transfers will comply with the EU GDPR. All datasets containing personal data will be encrypted and stored on secure servers.
7. Retention period
The FORADVISE project will keep the personal data of the users for the period necessary for the accomplishment of the purposes for which they were collected; The FORADVISE project will maintain these data through the period that it is obliged to by the law. The FORADVISE project may also keep the data beyond these periods for statistical purposes, and for this purpose anonymize them.
8. User rights
In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679, the user has the right to request from the FORADVISE project access to personal data concerning him/her, as well as his rectification or deletion, and the limitation of the treatment with respect to the user, or the right to object to the treatment, as well as the right to portability of data, in accordance with the laws governing the processing of personal data.
To exercise the aforementioned rights, the user may contact the data controller through the addresses indicated in paragraph 1 of this policy. 9. Data Collection for Network Members
The FORADVISE project will collect personal data from network members for the following specific purposes:
- Reporting purposes
The collected data will be used to build a reporting document to demonstrate that the advisory networks are being established and operated in the participating project countries. - Communication of Project Activities
The FORADVISE collected data to send network members information about upcoming events and other relevant project activities organized at the EU level. - Project Newsletter Subscription
If a network member opts to receive the FORADVISE newsletter, their email address will be used to send regular project newsletters. - I consent to the processing of my personal data solely for the purpose of FORADVISE activities, including the collection of images for dissemination (such as photos and videos), research communications, newsletters, service news, technical articles, event information, or other related activities, in accordance with the FORADVISE Privacy Policy.
