The AdvisoryNetPEST project aims to create a network and upgrade advisory services across the EU to increase the sharing of knowledge and the adoption of innovative solutions to reduce the use and risks of pesticides (RURP) in all EU Member States, enabling the agricultural sector to achieve the targets proposed by the Farm to Fork Strategy.

STRATUS, aims to connect advisors across Europe for accelerating knowledge creation and sharing on Integrated Fertilization Management, supporting farmers to bring this knowledge into practice to achieve the ambition of the Farm to Fork and Biodiversity Strategies, thus reducing nutrient losses to the environment while maintaining soil fertility.

This project will establish a new EU-wide network that fosters open collaboration between advisors and key stakeholders in the livestock sector. The network will include various aspects of farming, including best practices, technological advancements, enhancing the value of farm products, diversifying income sources, and addressing other critical challenges. Additionally, an innovative advisory marketplace will be developed to promote advanced advisory practices, integrating both technical and soft skills to improve the effectiveness of support services.

Aligned with the EU goal of reaching 25% organic farmland by 2030, the project tackles the need for skilled organic farming advisors by building a Europe-wide network open to experienced organic advisors, conventional advisors interested in transitioning, and newcomers. It will support their development through 30 in-person Cross Visits across five regions, 5 Soft Skills Trainings, and a full suite of online activities including e-learning modules, peer-to-peer networking and thematic communities. At the same time, the project will strengthen the development of organic advisory systems through policy recommendations based on mapping education and training opportunities, analysing financial support mechanisms, and identifying promising business models across Europe.
