The VII National Community of Practice (CoP) meeting of the ModernAKIS project will take place online on 24 March at 10:00 CET, focusing on demonstration activities as a tool for extension and innovation within the AKIS framework. The webinar will bring together key initiatives and stakeholders across agriculture, livestock, and forestry to share knowledge and best practices. During the session on forestry demonstration activities, CESEFOR will present the FORADVISE project, highlighting the Forest Advisors Network and its contribution to strengthening advisory services and knowledge exchange in the forestry sector. This meeting of the ModernAKIS National CoP represents an opportunity to delve deeper into the role of demonstration activities as key tools to accelerate innovation, strengthen agricultural extension and improve the circulation of knowledge among the various actors in the AKIS system.

On 10 December 2025 Irish stakeholders will come together to review and validate Ireland’s FOKIS mapping and agree priority measures to make forest advisory services more effective and accessible. Key findings and practical deliverables will be shared after the workshop.
