Cross-Border Expertise for
Advisory Modernisation

The Thematic Working Groups (TWGs) are transnational expert groups established to address key thematic areas relevant to forestry advisory systems across EU member states.

While National Networks are geographically structured, TWGs are topic-driven and bring together expertise from multiple EU countries. The TWGs:

  • Analyse thematic challenges across countries
  • Compare advisory approaches and governance models
  • Exchange good practices
  • Identify innovation pathways
  • Develop recommendations and guidance
  • Contribute to policy-relevant outputs
