  • FORADVISE launches Work Package 5 to accelerate knowledge sharing across Europe’s forest advisory community 

    Following the successful completion of the project’s initial networking and scoping activities, FORADVISE has officially launched Work Package 5 (WP5): “Speed up knowledge sharing in themes and methods”, marking the beginning of a new phase focused on turning collaboration into practical action. Led by the Swedish Forest Agency (SFA), Work Package 5 runs from June 2026 until December 2028, building on the foundations established through the Thematic Working Groups (TWGs), National Contact Points (FNCPs) and Communities of Practice created during the first18 months of the project. From identifying challenges to sharing solutions  While the first phase of FORADVISE focused on identifying the main needs and priorities of forest advisory services across Europe, WP5 shifts the emphasis towards knowledge exchange, co-creation and the practical transfer of successful advisory approaches. Its objective is to accelerate the flow of knowledge between countries, organisations and advisors by creating opportunities for peer learning,  and adapting proven practices to different regional contexts.
